  • Transaction data: Information about purchases made in the Shop (e.g., purchase of vEUR currency, payment data integrated with the Stripe system).

  • Integration identifiers: If you link your eMCe account with other platforms (e.g., Discord ID, YouTube ID, Microsoft UUID), we collect these identifiers to ensure proper integration functionality and facilitate login.

Voluntary data:

  • Additional data provided by the user: Any information that the user voluntarily decides to complete in their profile (e.g., profile description, social media links). Providing this data is entirely optional.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing

Your personal data is processed solely for specific, legally justified purposes:

  • Enabling the use of the player account and Portal: To provide you with full access to all Server and Portal features, including games, forums, galleries, and other services. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract).

  • Processing purchases in the Shop: Data processing is necessary to handle transactions, e.g., purchasing virtual vEUR currency, ranks, or items. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

  • Processing digital withdrawals: Data processing necessary to fulfill requests for funds withdrawal (e.g., PayPal transfers, Paysafecard codes, bank transfers). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

  • Contact with the user: Providing technical support, informing about important changes, responding to inquiries and requests. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the Administrator – effective communication with users).

  • Protection against abuse and attacks: Monitoring activity to prevent unfair practices, fraud, spam, DDoS attacks, and other actions violating the security of the Server and Portal and the Terms and Conditions.   • Fulfilling legal obligations: Data processing required by law, including in particular obligations arising from tax regulations (e.g., storing transaction proofs). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the administrator is subject).

Your personal data may only be disclosed to entities providing services on behalf of the Administrator, with whom appropriate data processing agreements have been concluded, guaranteeing compliance with GDPR and high data protection standards. Such entities include:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH: Hosting service provider, responsible for the Portal and Server's server infrastructure.

  • Stripe Inc.: Online payment operator, responsible for secure processing of card payments and other methods.

  • Discord Inc.: Discord service provider, used for account integration, login, and community communication.

  • YouTube (Google LLC): YouTube service provider, used to handle video materials on user profiles or in other sections of the Portal.

  • Microsoft (Minecraft.net - MOJANG): Minecraft game provider, essential for logging in and integrating the player account with the Server via UUID.

All listed data processors guarantee an adequate level of personal data protection, in accordance with applicable regulations.

6. Data Retention Period

Your personal data is stored for the following periods:

  • Throughout the entire period of having an active account on the Portal: Data is necessary for providing services.

  • Up to 5 years from account deletion: Data retention after account deletion is dictated by the need to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., tax, evidential in case of potential claims) and for protection against abuse.

  • Until consent for processing is withdrawn: Applies to data that is processed solely based on your voluntary consent (e.g., in the case of newsletter subscription, if such a feature is implemented).
